The Montol Market 2009 @ The former Ritz Cinema in Queen Street Penzance.

A central element of the festival is the Montol Christmas Market, which this year will be held in The Ritz, (old Bingo Hall) in Queen St, Penzance, Dec 17 – Late night shopping till 9pm., Dec 18, 9 – 5, and Dec 19, 9 – 5. With around 30 stalls selling a fabulous range of locally hand crafted designer made gifts and decorations for your last minute presents, including jewellery, ceramics, glass, clothing and other ideas, there will also be a variety of luxury seasonal food and drink, wrapped and ready to go, all produced with minimum food miles, as well as hot ready to eat food and mulled wine/juice, for your consumption in the refreshment area, a festive shopping experience with a Montol twist. The Montol team are aiming to make this market really special, with decoration, music, refreshments, KidZart and story telling for the little ones. The perfect place to pick up those last minute gifts, have the children create their own cards and personalised presents, and have your lunch or tea in the luxury of the original 1930’s cinema. Montol Festival is also supporting Penzance Farmers Market on Dec 18, Causewayhead for another great selection of locally made festive fare.
